Poems in Porridge Magazine

I’ve been thinking about what I want this section of the website to be, and really, for my own sake, I’d like it to be a comprehensive catalogue of all the writing I’m putting out into the world. I have a terrible memory when it comes to my own life (to the extent that I sometimes have to check my LinkedIn to remember my own job history) so I want this site to function partly as a diary and portfolio for me to look back on and see what I was thinking and writing about, and when.

This is all a longwinded way of saying that from here on I may be posting more links to my work which has appeared on other platforms.

I’m beginning with my two poems which were published in the fourth issue of the wonderful Porridge Magazine. This was the first time my poetry has appeared in a physical magazine so I was very excited. One piece was ‘Mental Health Badminton Club’, which I’ve included a sneaky photo of below. I won’t include a photo of my second piece, ‘Model’, as I ought to encourage you to go buy a copy and support a brilliant indie publisher!
